Full-stack design. User experience. Interface design. Interface with your team. Interface with your face.

"One should guard against preaching to young people success in the customary form as the main aim in life. The most important motive for work in school and in life is pleasure in work, pleasure in result, and the knowledge of the value of the result to the community."
‐ Albert Einstein

Scott Craig

My name is Scott Craig. I am a Denver-based designer specializing in UX, interactive design, and product design.

Understanding how people interact with the digital environment, I design focusing on user experience. With a career in design spanning fifteen years, I work closely with clients and product managers to ensure quality is achieved. Everything I create is focused on user experience.

Along with my interactive design experience, I also have a strong background in print and identity design. I'm a Fine Arts graduate, turned web designer. I enjoy discussing politics, economic systems and some CSS. Having designed album covers for more than fifteen years, I also love to listen to and conversate about music. Last but certainly not least, I play an unhealthy level of videogames and enjoy Colorado craft brews.

When I say, "full-stack designer", I mean that I am involved in every aspect of a project, from beginning to end. However, there is no end. The design is only the starting point. Technology evolves with us.

New projects, existing products, quick hits. I'm your design mercenary.

While my focus discipline is all things visual, I do have a solid background in high-level experience design. I approach a new project from the base, user level. Looking at my project process, you will notice that I am very hands-on with the development team. As stated before, the design is just the starting point. At the end of the day, every project results in a user having a positive experience in front of their computer or device.

Please do get in touch. I'm open to small or large projects, short-term or long-term, remote or on-site. Additionally, you can contact me to receive my mailing address for the purposes of sending me beer.
